February 02, 2010 /New Age PR News/ -- Keturah Wasler first published Box of Chocolates: Piece from my Heart in 2009 and the 116 page amalgamation is a truly a lovely book. It has been less than a year and Keturah Wasler has put another work of art on the market. Her creative juices are flowing and the world of words is more complete for it.
Keturah Wasler has been struggling in these inflationary times which she claims has given her a lot to write about. "I don't have this overwhelming belief that life has dealt me a bad hand. I don't always have the right cards but I Playing with what I have -to my benefit. Throughout my life I've had to war against something just like everyone else." When asked how she has dealt with the problems she's had Keturah told me, "Writing has always been my medium for communicating my deepest thoughts. When I was in my teens I would have called all this problems. As time goes on I am learning the word 'problem' is not the best classification. I have been subjected to perpetual behaviors and cycles of pain."
Keturah what do you mean by cycles of pain? "For example I arrest a cycle of poor spending habits and I arrest the cycle by not spending foolishly. I retreat and rethink a purchase or an urge to purchase an item a commercial is trying to convince me I need or some billboard is drawing me into. Yet the other members of my house hold and friends have not done this nor do they want to. I've only removed the behavior not healed the desire ...I would shop again In order to belong with them. The exact nature of the cycle is my fear of alone. Through much hard work and writing - I've come to this type of personal knowledge."
In the Box of Chocolates: Piece of My Mind a reader is being guided through days Keturah has lived within the last 6 months. Days of struggle and heartbreak and what I call problems has inspired Keturah to pour into this book her recipes for healing through poetry, commentary, out right instructions and prayers she's used. Keturah states, " It's not that I don't need these thoughts but at times I forget and I need reminders. The book includes instruction on Chi Kung on mantra and the definitions about secret rituals and ceremony in the bible what allegory is used to hide the meaning from a reader or scholar not entirely aware. "I am a sort of witness and my writings are my account of events, more often than not objective. Yet there will be times I impose my opinion."
